and lo, a Unicorn
Tooley Street
London SE1 2HZ

The Unicorn is the UKs flagship theatre for young people. Its home is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art building, located on the south bank of the Thames, close to Tower Bridge and a short walk from London Bridge station. As well as creating their own productions, they host visits by some of the UK and Worlds other great theatre companies for young people. They stage over 620 performances a year as well as a wide range of special events, workshops and other theatre activities. They also have an extensive Education programme, which works with visiting schools and local young people. There is wheelchair and buggy access throughout, baby care facilities, safe buggy storage, a cafe, and they even host birthday parties. Check their Whats On page for current performances.

Opening Hours: Cafe open 8 am to 4:30 and 90 mins before show times on the weekend

About the Author:

Janis I look after the day-to-day running of ReallyKidFriendly.com, as well as some geeky stuff behind the scenes. Thanks to my two boisterous rascals (aged 4 and 5), I have become an expert in soft play areas, parks, energetic music classes, and where to get a stiff drink once the kids have gone to bed. Really – ask me anything!
