Tate Britain : Baby friendly day out?
Millbank
London SW1P 4RG
Tate Britain houses British art from 1500 to the present day, and offers a range of activities for children and adults to explore together. These include any-time activities for families with children, plus drop-in and ticketed special activities for weekends and school holidays. Children will particularly enjoy the Art Trolley, where they can discover imaginative and weird and wonderful materials. Build a sculpture, draw something that catches your eye or even create a pretty collage. Pose for a picture with your art work and then check out Tates website to see if your work has been published online. Art Trolley is a free drop-in suitable for all ages, available every weekend from 11 am – 5 pm and every day in August. Weve teamed up with Tate Online Shop to offer one person the chance to win a craft box containing lots of goodies for craft projects and a Miffy the Artist book, one of the best loved childrens characters of all time.
