Great day trip to escape London.

The weather was a perfect crisp spring morning so to escape London we chose Savill Garden. A bit tricky to get to but worth the drive as the gardens are spectacular. The visitor centre is interesting and has lots of seating outside and in. Wide automatic doors make it very easily accessible for prams too. The cafe serves the usual fayre: jacket potatoes, paninis, has a kids menu for hot lunches and the standard kids lunch boxes too. All about average prices for these and pretty clean. The toilets had little wooden steps both in the loos and by the wash basins which was a nice touch. The car park is free if you pay to go in the garden (Adults £5.40, children under 6 free) and from here you can also explore nearby Virginia Water and Windsor Great Park. This is a lovely place and we had a great time.
