Most are absolutely free, although some may set you back £1 or so. A day at a city farm can include feeding the animals, learning where eggs come from, and even donkey riding! Many museums have great hands-on interactive exhibits, lively performances, arts and crafts, messy play, discovery trails, storytelling, and much more. Most also have a picnic area so you can even bring a packed lunch.
