Get yourself a cup of tea and a nice ginger biscuit and have a look around the site. You’ll find lots of ideas and inspiration from reading about what other mums and dads have been up to. You can use the Search box and quick links over on the right hand side of the page if you’re looking for something in particular, or even browse by region using the quick links.
Share, share, share!
Whenever you stumble across something you like, use the “Share” tool at the bottom of the page to bookmark it, print it or share by email, Twitter, Facebook or any of your favourite social media.
Add quick ratings
We know you’re busy, so we’ve also added some nifty little clickable stars for you to add your own ratings super-quick, directly to the ‘snippets’ on the homepage, category pages and search results. Just click on the number of stars, and that’s it – you don’t even need to log in.
Write quick reviews
Help other parents plan stress-free days out with the kids, or find just the right birthday present or rainy day activity. All you need to do is scroll to the bottom of any page, give it a quick rating and write a few lines about your experience. Again, you don’t even need to log in – just enter your name and email address so we know you’re not a spammer. Don’t worry, we never share your email address with anyone.
Recommend new child friendly gems
Much like the wee ones who inspired our website, we’re just little, but growing every day thanks to your input. We’ve made it easier than ever to recommend new child friendly places to go and things to do, or even to submit your own “Top Picks” list. Just use this form to tell us a few details. We’ll work a bit of magic and get your recommendation onto the site as soon as we can.
Win prizes
We have plenty of lovely prizes to give away and usually run a prize draw at least once a month, giving away beautifully illustrated children’s books, toys, pampering products and experiences, and much more. Every review or new recommendation automatically counts as one entry in that month’s prize draw, and you can boost your chances of winning by promoting our competitions on Facebook and Twitter.
