This is such a great place for kids of all ages and as it's free is a place you can go back to time and time again. The special exhibitions which you pay for are always worth checking out as well. We usually treat ourselves to lunch as we haven't paid to get it and the food is really very good and not too expensive. There's such a variety of things to do: little aquarium, mad room with stuffed animals - almost better than a zoo as they don't run away ! Music room, gardens and lots of hands-on stuff.
