Holland Park is the largest park in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, with grassy areas, woodlands, and formal gardens. There are plenty of sports facilities and some play areas, including a separate area for under-8s, an Ecology centre, and a child friendly cafe. The Ecology Centre at Holland Park runs a series of events, activities and educational visits and workshops for schools. They also run a wildlife club for children, creative and outdoorsy holiday activities for 5 – 10 year olds, and a full programme of events for all ages.New parents also have the opportunity to meet other mothers and socialise as well as getting in shape safely with the Pushy Parents buggy fitness class on Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (£5 per session). The walks are ideal whether you are a new mother who has just completed your postnatal check or someone with a baby under 18 months who wants to tone up and lose weight.
