Really Kid Friendly is an online user-generated guide to enjoying time with your family, with recommendations from parents, carers and family ‘experts’ across London and the UK. Whether you are looking for a great indoor adventure play centre, a family friendly museum with interactive exhibits, a child friendly pub, a local playrgoup, or even just want some tips on planning your child’s birthday, you’ll find it here. You can even read reviews about great children’s music CDs, safe and engaging websites or iPhone applications for kids, exciting family films, and lovely books to read with your children. If you’re stuck for ideas about things to do with your children, have a look at our Top Picks, or browse the category pages.
Share your recommendations too – anyone anywhere is welcome to contribute to the site. You can add a quick rating to anything you like across the site (just click the stars!), or take a few minutes to review something / somewhere recommended by another parent, or even submit your own recommendation, article or Top Picks list.

What will my registration details be used for?
Your registration details will be used to help us tailor our website so that our users have the best experience possible. You can read all the details in our Privacy Policy, but in essence we will never pass your registration details on to anyone else.
You can also use your profile page to provide additional details about yourself and your family. Not only does this help us to further improve our website and choose appropriate advertisers, it helps create that community feel!
Anyone can use our website to look up venues, activities or products and read reviews. You do not need to log in to read reviews or search the directory. If you find anything on the site which you find inappropriate or offensive, please let us know and we will deal with it immediately.
The reviews and other content on the site are written by a broad mix of individuals, including parent bloggers, local experts, and individuals from other parent-focused sites. More details about the individual authors can be found at the bottom of each article or blog post. Additional reviews, ratings and comments are submitted by the general public – these are owned by the submitter(s) and the opinions of the general public may differ from the opinions of the author(s). The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely those of the specified authors. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement.
We are often invited to write posts to promote specific campaigns or products, and we only write about those which we would happily recommend to other parents. Anyone can write a review, but you need to provide your name and a valid email address each time, or register on the site.
It’s easy. Browse or use the search box to find the business, service or product you’d like to review. You can add your review and rating at the bottom of the page.
What if the place, activity, product or business I want to review is not on the website?
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Use the forms on the Write a Review page to add some basic details. We’ll check it out and publish it on the site as soon as possible. During busy periods this might take a couple days.
As a business owner you can
- Tell parents with young children why your business, product or service is really kid friendly
- Customise and update your entry to include any new facilities you’ve added, tell visitors to the website about upcoming events, special offers, and so forth.
- Help visitors to our website find your business easily by making sure your business is included in all the right search categories.
- Upload an image – this could be a photo of the restaurant, a particularly photogenic staff member, your logo, or even a close-up of your best looking sandwich…whatever will make your business stand out in the search results page.
- Advertise across the site
- Have your business or product highlighted in our Featured panels and shopping guide
- Make it easy for visitors to your website to read reviews about you on our site. We’ll send you a banner and some link details so that visitors to your website can go straight to your listing on Really Kid Friendly.
- Find out what people actually think about your business! Read some of the reviews and you will very quickly find out if there are some improvements you could make so that your customers have the best possible experience and keep coming back.
- Respond to the reviews. If there was a bad review of your business, why not explain what went wrong that day, or what you have changed since then in response to that review?
