Families can enjoy the 1930s house – then imagine the Palace in the times of the Tudors and explore the Great Hall using our Step Inside activity sheet. This highlights the fascinating history of this house and conjures up an impression of Tudor life. Weather permitting, why not explore the grounds – walk round the moat and spot the huge carp. Find the yew hedge that used to screen the open air swimming pool belonging to the Courtaulds and enjoy the surprising views over London. Picnic area available so dont forget your sandwiches!
