Easter in London: Horrible Histories comes to the National Portrait Gallery

NPG Horrible Histories This Easter, Horrible Histories are coming to the National Portrait Gallery. There is a programme of free activities for families from 2- 6 April with the opportunity to meet the cast of Barmy Britain and come face to face with portraits of the famous historical figures in the Gallery’s Collection who star in the show. Barmy Britain is currently showing at the Garrick Theatre in London.

Each day there will be a Tour and Draw session, a Q&A session with characters from the show (Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, Florence Nightingale, or Guy Fawkes) and a series of art workshops.

• Tour and Draw sessions are suitable for ages 5+ and their carers. Drop-in, no ticket required.

• Q & A sessions are suitable for ages 5+ and their carers. Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first served basis from 10:15 – 11:15 for the morning session and 13:30 – 14:30 for the afternoon session from Room 21 on Floor 1. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 13:30 – 14:30 in Room 21 on Floor 1.
